Girl on the Platform

A girl sits waiting for the train to come. 

There are two other people on the platform waiting for the train. 

They are all bundled up for the early winter. 

The girl’s mind begins the whirl:

the cogs are turning

her eyes are blinking

she’s hypothesizing.
